Vintage Indian Kantha Quilt Lilac Sky Check

This is a vintage Indian Suzani quilt from Kerala in Southern India. These are traditionally received by the groom on his wedding day as part of the dowry. This quilt is single sided which has been beautifully over embroidered. The colours in this quilt are predominately creams, and mustard and sky blue with green and terracotta.

Because of the vintage nature of this quilt, there are patches, sometimes holes and repairs within the fabric. We love the authenticity of these pieces and we hope that you do to.
