Vintage Indian Suzani Quilt

This is a vintage Indian Suzani quilt from Kerala in Southern India. This quilt is single  sided with beautiful over embroidery. These Suzani's are traditionally given to the groom on his wedding day as part of the wedding dowry. The colours are  predominately cream and light yellow, green, mid blue and terracotta.

Because of the vintage nature of these quilts, there are patches, sometimes holes and repairs within the fabric. We love the authenticity of these pieces and we hope that you do to.
